Forestville Ferrets JRLFC

Thank you to everyone who came to our AGM last month, we really appreciate you taking the time to attend and sharing your feedback with us. 2020 will be upon us before we know it so we are well into preparation mode for the coming season.

Your 2020 Board of Directors is as follows:
Scott Newman - President
Scott Featherstone - Vice President
Matt Eisenhauer - Gear Steward
Pat Hickey - A Grade Delegate/Liaison
Charlotte Rhall - Canteen Manager (Welcome Charlotte!)
Rod Roberts - Grounds Manager
Carly Tracey - Secretary
Paul Woollett - Licensee

** Thank you to longtime board member, and newly inducted Life Member, Clinton Dodds for all you have done for the club over your many years involvement!
Wishing you, Bianca and the boys the very best for the big move!

************************************************************

There are still a couple of roles we need to fill for the 2020 season, so if you can volunteer for any of these, we would love to hear from you. The roles are:

Treasurer
Registrar
Game Day Manager/s

You don't necessarily have to join the board to do the above roles and the time commitment is not huge, so please get in touch if you would like to help our great Club!

Always good to promote the good things NRL players do!Newcastle Knights star front row forward David Klemmer has donated his entire State of Origin pay packet to the clubs Jersey Flegg coach Scott Dureau.
___
Dureau, a former Knights player is currently battling cancer. He has battled 2 lots of cancer in his brain and also his liver.
___
Hospital fees, operations and chemotherapy treatment have left him heavily out of pocket.
___
When Klemmer heard of this, he immediately handed over his $60,000 pay from his two Origin appearances this year.
___
Dureau recently underwent his latest round of chemotherapy on his liver and the test results are positive at this stage.

Now the dust has settled on another great season for the ferrets check out some of the highlights from our mighty u12s grand final win.

Big congratulations to our u9s as well on making it to the grand final in their first year of competitive footy. Unfortunately couldn't get the job done against Belrose but did the club proud and never gave up.
