Have you heard the great news?
Contact training is allowed from today! (Dont forget mouth guards for training on Thursday!) πŸŽŠπŸ•Ί

Have you heard the even better news??
The max 20 people per training group no longer applies! πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

But, have you heard the best news of all???
The clubhouse bar will be open on Thursday night! πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒπŸ·πŸΊ

We still need to remain vigilant and follow our COVID safety plan and protocols but, as long as we are all sensible, there’s no reason we can’t share a (socially distant) drink or two with our fellow Ferrets!

For the foreseeable future, we need to continue with the training attendance register, hand sanitiser and cleaning of all equipment.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to all coaches/managers/trainers/players/parents for adhering to our COVID safety plan and ensuring training could resume with as little fuss as possible. Your support has really made the return to training as smooth as possible.

We are only a matter of a few weeks away from the start of the 2020 season (17 days in fact, but who’s counting??). We know everyone has lots of questions about the season and we will endeavour to share all relevant information with you as it comes to hand.

As always, Go Ferrets! πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰

*** Edit to below - Don't forget to bring your own Water Bottle! No sharing of water bottles ***

With most teams getting training underway this week, please take note of the following important info so everyone can stay COVID-safe!

1. Arrive 10mins early to alow time for registration & hand sanitising.

2. Come to the club ready to train, already in your training gear. Dressing sheds are still off-limits.

3. Everyone (coaches/trainers/players) to register at registration table.

4. Remember to stay 1.5 metres from everyone.

5. Stay in your teams allocated zone.

6. Leave immediately after training - Get in, Train, Get out!

7. Parents, please either drop & go or stay in cars where possible.

Most importantly, if you are not feeling well, please stay home!

It’s up to everyone to make sure the COVID protocols are followed so we can ensure we all stay healthy & safe and can get 2020 underway.

Go Ferrets! πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰

We’re approved! Thanks to NSWRL for processing our COVID safety plan approval so quickly.

No training to begin until officially advised by the Club, and this will not be before our coaches/managers update meeting on Tuesday night & all our protocols are put in place. So β€˜watch this space’ & look out for communications from your teams coach and/or manager.

The great news that has been confirmed today is that maximum numbers for training groups has been increased from 10 to 20 (inclusive of players & coaches), effective Saturday 13th June.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the training field very soon! πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰

The news just keeps getting better!
It was announced today that all community sport can return from 1 July, so this covers our Mens & Womens Open Age teams as well now. No training can commence until we have our COVID Safety plan approved by NSWRL, so this will be communicated as soon as we have the go ahead.

There will be a compulsory meeting for Coaches & Managers next Tuesday evening at 7pm in the clubhouse to cover all relevant information & protocols. Please see the Team App message from this afternoon regarding this.

As always, Go Ferrets!

Finally the news we’ve all been waiting for!

Non-contact training can recommence once everything is in place for a safe return to training, meaning we need to ensure we are completely COVID-conscious and employing all possible safety & hygiene measures. At this stage, contact training will begin from 1st July.
Once all details are known, we will be in contact with the coaches/managers who, in turn, will provide all the information to their teams.

Please bear with with us for a few days as we get all the relevant information & processes together & determine the best way forward for the Ferrets.

Good news indeed, interested how a squad of more than 10 decides who can and who can’t train though 😳

Not long to wait now.....we’ll be in touch with everyone once we have more details about the potential season start date and what the season will look like. Watch this space πŸ‰πŸ‰πŸ‰ ... See MoreSee Less

We can’t start training yet, but if you have a ball and a mate or sibling, try some of these in the backyard to get you ready πŸ‰
