Always good to promote the good things NRL players do!Newcastle Knights star front row forward David Klemmer has donated his entire State of Origin pay packet to the clubs Jersey Flegg coach Scott Dureau.
Dureau, a former Knights player is currently battling cancer. He has battled 2 lots of cancer in his brain and also his liver.
Hospital fees, operations and chemotherapy treatment have left him heavily out of pocket.
When Klemmer heard of this, he immediately handed over his $60,000 pay from his two Origin appearances this year.
Dureau recently underwent his latest round of chemotherapy on his liver and the test results are positive at this stage.
What an incredible gesture by David Klemmer. 🙌 // #NRLFeelGood ... See MoreSee Less
